National Guard Commander Visits German Federal Police Commands, Units

BERLIN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 03rd Sep, 2026) Major General Saleh Mohammed bin Megren Al Ameri, Commander of the National Guard, visited several German Federal Police (Bundespolizei) commands and units during his current visit to the Federal Republic of Germany. The visit aimed to strengthen security cooperation and exchange expertise between the two sides.

The visits included:

  • Directorate of Readiness and Rapid Response Police (Direktion Bundesbereitschaftspolizei) and the Aviation Group in Blumberg
  • Federal Police Inspectorate in Frankfurt
  • Federal Police Inspectorate at Berlin Airport

During these visits, the National Guard Commander was welcomed by numerous command and group directors, as well as inspectorate heads, who provided insights into their units' roles, responsibilities, and key tasks within the German Federal Police.

Al Ameri had the opportunity to review the units' operations, capabilities in readiness, rapid response, aviation, and security operations. He was also briefed on their training programs, operational coordination, and working methods.

The exchanges focused on sharing expertise and experiences, and discussions on various mutually beneficial topics. The aim was to leverage best practices and gain insights into security operations.

These visits are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration between the National Guard and the German Federal Police, fostering the exchange of knowledge and expertise to enhance joint security operations.
