An explosion occurred while an oxygen cylinder was being fitted in an ambulance in Nagarparkar, Tharparkar district, killing nine and injuring four. The injured were taken to Karachi, while the bodies were moved to Mithi for formalities.

The blast, triggered by the cylinder explosion, led to a fire in the vehicle. Identities of the victims, including a woman, two attendants, and four hospital employees, are yet to be confirmed.
Sindh Minister for Home and Law, Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar, took notice of the incident and requested a detailed report from the SSP and DC Tharparkar.
