No regular contact with pair held in Iran, family say

A British couple, Lindsay and Craig Foreman, who have been detained in Iran since January 2025, face a dire situation. According to their family, despite promising regular contact after they ended their hunger strikes, they have not had consistent communication with their loved ones for over 20 months.
The family urges an urgent meeting with Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband to discuss potential actions to secure the couple's release. They also call for regular consular visits and a comprehensive strategy from the British government. The family expresses deep concern over the lengthy delays in arranging these visits, particularly after the hunger strikes.
Lindsay's son, Joe Bennett, emphasizes the importance of continuous pressure from the UK government and seeks a direct conversation with Miliband to understand the efforts being made on behalf of his parents.
"After more than 600 days, I do not think that is too much to ask," he states firmly.
