Notorious Dacoit Imran Chandio Arrested In Police Encounter
UrduPoint reports that an encounter took place between police and criminals within the limits of Behram Police Station, Qambar-Shahdadkot district on Wednesday. The notorious dacoit Imran Chandio was arrested in an injured condition.
From his possession, one pistol along with a magazine was recovered. Identified as Imran, son of Ali Akbar Chandio, he resides in village Rahoja Athiya, Tehsil Qambar.
The arrested dacoit is known for numerous robberies and other crimes in the area. Cases against him include highway robbery, dacoity, police encounters, and other serious offenses. A complete criminal record check is being conducted alongside further investigation.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Qambar-Shahdadkot, Hassan Sardar Ahmed Khan Niazi, has announced cash rewards and commendation certificates for involved personnel.
