Oil prices slipped by nearly 1% on Monday, driven down by declines in international benchmark futures.
- Brent crude futures dropped 94 cents, or 1 percent, to trade at $93.45 a barrel by 23:08 GMT.
- US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude similarly fell by 92 cents, or 1.06 percent, settling at $86.14 a barrel.
The pullback follows market adjustments to recent energy reports highlighting elevated crude inventories and mixed demand forecasts, temporarily easing pressure after persistent middle East supply risks had driven benchmarks higher.
