One Killed, Three Injured As House Roof Collapses in Raiwind
LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Sep, 2026) One person was killed while three others, including a woman and two children, sustained injuries when the roof of a house collapsed in the Raiwind area near Lahore, according to Rescue sources quoted by tv channels.
Initial reports suggested that the roof caved in due to the accumulation of heavy rainwater, trapping the residents under the debris. After receiving information about the incident, a Rescue team arrived at the scene and extracted the body of the deceased and the injured from the rubble. The deceased and injured were transported to a nearby hospital. Authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause of the roof collapse.
