JEDDAH, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Sep, 2026) The Consulate General of Pakistan in Jeddah has implemented an online appointment system for NADRA and Machine-Readable Passport (MRP) services, marking a significant step towards modernizing and streamlining consular services for the considerable Pakistani community residing in Saudi Arabia's western region.
Led by Pakistan’s Consul General in Jeddah, Syed Mustafa Rabbani, this initiative reflects a commitment to enhancing convenience and citizen-friendliness in consular services.
Under this new system, eligible Pakistani citizens can schedule online appointments for their required NADRA and passport services, then visit the consulate on their scheduled date and time to finalize the application process. Starting October 1, 2026, NADRA and MRP services will be available exclusively by appointment.
Consul General Syed Mustafa Rabbani informed media representatives that appointment bookings opened on September 20, 2026. Pakistani community members can conveniently book appointments online from the comfort of their homes, selecting a suitable time slot.
The primary goal is to alleviate citizen frustration with long waits and queues at the consulate while optimizing overall service delivery. Applicants will receive an SMS notification and a tracking ID upon securing an appointment, allowing them to monitor their appointment status online.
Emphasis has been placed on making the new system fast, user-friendly, secure, and reliable. Consul General Rabbani stated that this method would introduce greater organization and transparency in service delivery while saving citizens' valuable time. The allocation of specific time slots is also anticipated to decrease overcrowding and wait times at the consulate.
According to the consulate, appointments can be booked through the online portal appointment.parepjeddah.org. Citizens are advised to contact consulate officials for guidance or information regarding this new system via:
- Phone: 0126689149, 0558577893, 0558606308, 0501914472
