Pakistan Dispatches 100 Tons of Humanitarian Assistance to Nepal

Pakistan Today (UrduPoint) - September 06, 2026 - ISLAMABAD (APP) | At the directives of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, the government has dispatched 100 tons of humanitarian aid to the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, offering support during their recent struggle with devastating floods and landslides.

This assistance, organized by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), was transported via a chartered flight from Islamabad to Kathmandu. The relief package included essential items such as tents, blankets, mats, hygiene kits, and medicines for affected communities.

A send-off ceremony was held at Islamabad International Airport, with Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, serving as the chief guest alongside the Ambassador of Nepal to Pakistan and senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, NDMA, and other associated organizations.

This gesture symbolizes Pakistan's solidarity with Nepal during these challenging times.
