Pakistan Offers Bangladesh Cooperation in Legal Reforms and Digitalization of Justice System
Pakistan is ready to share its experience and expertise with Bangladesh in legal reforms and digitalisation of the justice system, according to Federal Minister for Law and Justice Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar. He made this statement on Monday during a meeting with High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Pakistan, Md Iqbal Hussain Khan.
The meeting discussed bilateral relations, legal and judicial cooperation, mediation, and reconciliation mechanisms. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the positive developments in their relationship and agreed to strengthen cooperation further.
Senator Tarar highlighted the potential for enhanced collaboration between the two nations in the legal and justice sectors, suggesting that exchanging experiences and expertise could improve both countries' justice systems.
The Bangladesh High Commissioner appreciated Pakistan's role in training Bangladeshi judges at the International Mediation and Arbitration Centre (IMAC) and expressed interest in learning from Pakistan's mediation and reconciliation programs.
