Pakistan Playing Constructive Role For Regional, Global Peace: Sarah Ahmed
Pakistan is committed to peace, stability, and development, and is playing a constructive role in promoting peace and security at regional and global levels. This was highlighted by Sarah Ahmed, Chairperson of the Child Protection and Welfare Bureau (CPWB) Punjab, during a seminar organized by the Jang Group on Sunday.
Ahmed acknowledged Pakistan's effective representation of its perspective to the world under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir. She praised the country's efforts to de-escalate conflicts and pursue peaceful resolutions, describing them as commendable.
"Pakistan has emerged as a confident and influential voice in the international community," Ahmed stated, emphasizing the nation's strong and effective leadership. She defined peace not just as the absence of conflict but as the creation of a secure society where people can live with dignity and hope for a better future.
The chairperson stressed the importance of ensuring children's safety, quality education, and opportunities for growth as key indicators of a peaceful society. She noted that the Pakistani community in Australia remains optimistic about Pakistan's progress and future, with a shared desire to see the country thrive.
Ahmed emphasized the need for sustained focus on peace, education, development, and the welfare of children to build a secure and prosperous Pakistan. She mentioned that the CPWB has rescued and rehabilitated over 80,000 children to date, describing each child as an ambassador of peace, hope, and progress.
Protecting children, she said, means safeguarding not only individual lives but also contributing to a brighter future for generations to come. She concluded by praying for Pakistan's enduring peace, stability, prosperity, and continuous progress.
