Pakistan, Saudi Arabia Hold Workshops To Align IT Strategies

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are holding joint workshops to align Pakistan’s national IT strategy with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. More than 50 Pakistani technology companies and 25 startups are participating in the LEAP Conference in Riyadh.

Minister's Address

Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, emphasized the importance of global cooperation for technological advancement on Thursday. She stated that:

"No country can progress alone or in isolation."

The minister highlighted the potential of Pakistan’s 240 million people and its thriving technology ecosystem, while advocating for removing sectoral barriers to accelerate technological progress.

She also noted the strength of relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, stating that they extend beyond trade and offer opportunities for enhanced cooperation in the technology sector.

"Our youth are a true reflection of creativity and talent," she concluded.
