PBC Multan holds youth broadcasting workshop

PBC Multan hosted a two-day training workshop for young compères, radio jockeys, newsreaders, and interns on September 30, 2026. This event was part of a nationwide initiative by Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar to build the capacity of youth in broadcasting.

Organized by Radio Pakistan, the series of training programs aims to provide young individuals with practical experience in broadcasting and equip them with modern communication skills. PBC stations will serve as platforms for identifying, training, and mentoring emerging talent, focusing on professional standards, responsible communication, and contemporary broadcasting techniques.

Saeed Ahmed Shaikh, PBC Director General, highlighted the goal of the series to harness young talent and prepare it for the evolving needs of modern media. He emphasized that these workshops would enhance communication skills, confidence, and intellectual development among Generation Z.

During the workshop, participants engaged in practical training in broadcasting, presentation, voice modulation, news reading, radio jockeying, and effective, responsible communication. This initiative is part of PBC's broader effort to develop a new generation of skilled broadcasters by offering learning opportunities directly from experienced media professionals.
