Petrol and Diesel Prices Increase From September 4
ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Sep, 2026) The Federal government has increased the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs2.84 and Rs2.28 per litre, respectively, effective September 4, 2026.
According to a press release issued by the Petroleum Division on Thursday, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) revised the ex-depot prices under the revised petroleum pricing mechanism.
The price of HSD has been increased from Rs372.03 to Rs374.31 per litre, showing an increase of Rs2.28.
Similarly, the price of Motor Spirit (petrol) has risen from Rs346.16 to Rs349 per litre, an increase of Rs2.84.
