Petrol and Diesel Price Hikes Announced
Pakistan's government has increased the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs2.10 and Rs0.30 per litre, respectively, effective October 3, 2026.
Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) Notification
According to an OGRA notification:
- The price of petrol (Motor Spirit) has risen from Rs390.66 to Rs392.76 per litre.
- The price of HSD is now revised to Rs399.34 from Rs399.64 per litre.
Revised Prices Valid Until October 5, 2026
These prices will be in effect from October 3 to October 5, 2026, as stated by the Petroleum Division, citing global developments and changes in Platts rates, premiums, and incidentals as reasons for the adjustments.
