PFA Inspects 50 Food Points In Gujrat - UrduPoint

The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) conducted inspections at 50 food points across the district of Gujrat, as part of their ongoing campaign against adulterated and unsafe food items. This operation was directed by Deputy District Officer Sadia Rafat.
According to an official source, PFA teams issued 22 improvement notices and fined seven food businesses with a total of Rs126,000 for violating food safety and hygiene standards. During the inspections, they also discarded 20 kg of expired cold drinks and other substandard food items.
The authority assured continued action against any food businesses found in breach of food safety regulations.
