PHA Launches Largest Winter Flower Campaign
The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) has launched its largest-ever winter flower campaign, with 13,853 flower beds being prepared across the city.
PHA Managing Director Ahmed Usman Javed said 13,853 flower beds are being established this year, a significant increase from last year's 9,505. He further stated that 4.742 million flower seeds have been distributed, marking a 31.38% rise over the previous year.
Nursery seedling production and transplantation to flower beds have already begun to ensure timely beautification of parks and green belts. All eight zones and 11 project directors have been directed to complete the campaign targets within the stipulated timeframe.
