PM Aide Rejects Talks Regarding Strains In Coalition Government
UrduPoint (24 August, 2026) - ISLAMABAD: Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Information and KP Affairs, Ikhtiar Wali Khan, has dismissed talks of division within the coalition government. He affirmed that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had formed the government with a shared vision of progressing the country.
In an interview with a private news channel, Mr. Khan stated that both parties were collaborating harmoniously, demonstrating mutual understanding and respect. Responding to questions regarding Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), he acknowledged the challenges faced by the PML-N when it assumed power, but emphasized their resilience in overcoming these hurdles. He assured that the government is committed to providing medical care to PTI leader, who is currently imprisoned, ensuring his well-being.
