PM Directs to Enhance Effectiveness and Pace of Youth-related Projects
ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Sep, 2026) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday directed the authorities concerned to accelerate the execution of projects under the Prime Minister's Youth Program, and to make the ongoing initiatives more effective, results-oriented, and directly aligned with the actual needs of young people.
The prime minister, during a meeting with Chairman of Prime Minister's Youth Program, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, who called on him here, stated that Pakistan's youth are its most precious asset and guarantor of a bright future. He emphasized that the government is utilizing all possible resources to provide them with modern education, skills, employment, and business opportunities.
Rana Mashhood briefed the prime minister in detail about ongoing youth initiatives, projects, and future strategy. The meeting reviewed the progress of various projects under the Youth Program, including:
- Modern education, training, and market-aligned skills development.
- Creating new opportunities for youth in the digital economy.
- Increased employment and business prospects.
During the discussion, they also explored expanding the scope of educational, skill development, digital, and welfare programs while ensuring their effective and transparent implementation.
