PM Fuel Relief Package Reviewed
PM's Fuel Relief Package was the topic of a meeting held in the Commissioner’s Office's committee room on September 25, 2026, chaired by Additional Commissioner Coordination Ashfaq-ur-Rehman Khan. The meeting focused on the implementation of the fuel relief scheme across Sargodha Division districts, ensuring public relief, and associated arrangements.
Additional Deputy Commissioners from Sargodha, Khushab, Mianwali, and Bhakkar, participated via video link, alongside presidents of local Petroleum Associations.
The Additional Commissioner Coordination emphasized the importance of providing public convenience and transparency in accordance with the Prime Minister's Fuel Relief Package's prescribed procedure. He instructed officers to monitor arrangements at petrol pumps effectively, focusing on awareness and registration processes.
He urged for effective communication between the district administration and petroleum associations to enhance arrangements. Furthermore, he directed:
- Strengthening awareness campaigns to guide citizens regarding the scheme.
- Concerned officers to actively address complaints and issues promptly.
During the meeting, representatives from the district administration and petroleum association addressed implementation challenges of the fuel relief package.
