The district police in Faisalabad have made significant progress in their campaign against proclaimed offenders (POs), arresting a total of 4,852 individuals during the current year as of September 4, 2026. This includes 1,814 A-category and 3,038 B-category POs.
According to a police spokesperson, their efforts have resulted in the arrest of:
- 148 POs accused of murder.
- 186 individuals involved in attempt to murder.
- 1,656 criminals linked to robbery and dacoity cases.
These arrests were achieved through a combination of intelligence-based operations, CCTV surveillance, and modern technical resources.
