Police Claim 67% Decrease in Street Crimes in Lahore
According to police records, a significant 67% decrease in street crime incidents has been recorded in Lahore this year. During the first eight months of 2026, only 907 cases were reported compared to 2,818 cases registered during the same period last year.

- Cantt Division: 652 cases last year vs 232 this year.
- Civil Lines Division: 241 cases last year vs 52 this year.
- Saddar Division: 637 cases last year vs 232 this year.
- Iqbal Town Division: 336 cases last year vs 65 this year.
- Model Town Division: 600 cases last year vs 172 this year.
