Police Held For Aerial Firing
SIALKOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - August 25, 2026) Police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested two suspects for aerial firing and brandishing weapons in the area of Model Town.
According to police, a few days ago, a video showing two unidentified motorcyclists engaging in aerial firing and brandishing weapons in Model Town went viral on social media, causing serious concern among citizens. After taking notice of the incident, DPO Sialkot Capt (R) Dost Muhammad ordered police to trace the suspects and take legal action against them.
Following his direction, the Civil Lines police, with the help of Safe City cameras, modern technology, and human intelligence, traced and arrested the suspects, identified as Abdul Rehman and Saleem. An illegal 30-bore pistol was also recovered from their possession.
DPO Capt (R) Dost Muhammad stated that no one would be allowed to disturb the peace of the city or create panic among citizens.
