Post Distribution Based on Transparency, Merit, & Population Ratios: Finance Minister

Finance and Minerals Minister Mir Shoaib Nosherwani on Thursday stated that the fundamental policy for post distribution should be formulated with due consideration for transparency, merit, and population ratios.
As chairman of the Committee on the Redistribution of Posts, Nosherwani chaired a meeting attended by Law Secretary Pervez Nosherwani, Special Secretary Habib-ur-Rehman Kakar, and technical representatives from the Finance Department.
A detailed review was conducted during the meeting of the policy regarding post distribution, which was originally formulated in 1991. The Provincial Finance Minister was briefed on the existing administrative structure and post distribution following the creation of new divisions and districts.
Attention was given to revising the 1991 policy on post distribution and making necessary amendments to align it with the newly established divisions and districts.
Mir Shoaib Nosherwani emphasized that the government has consistently strived to provide adequate opportunities to all divisions and districts based on their specific needs and population proportions, ensuring fairness and balance in the allocation of government resources and jobs. He also directed concerned officials to complete the policy review process effectively and promptly.
