PRA Chairman Transfers 31 Lahore-based Enforcement Officers
Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) has taken administrative measures to further strengthen its enforcement system and enhance the effectiveness of field operations.
The PRA Chairman has transferred 31 Enforcement Officers serving in Lahore on administrative grounds. According to a PRA spokesperson, these transfers aim to improve the performance of the Enforcement Wing and enhance administrative efficiency. The new postings are expected to boost the effectiveness, responsiveness, and pace of field enforcement operations.
The spokesperson emphasized that the department is committed to ensuring strict adherence to tax laws without discrimination. The transfers also target curbing revenue leakage and expanding the tax base. Transparency, merit, and effective oversight in field operations remain top priorities for PRA.
Field officers' performance will be closely monitored regarding tax collection, taxpayer registration, return filing, and compliance with tax laws. This administrative reshuffle is part of ongoing efforts to improve institutional performance and create a more efficient and results-oriented enforcement mechanism.
