President, PM Hail Security Forces For Eliminating 49 Terrorists In KP, Balochistan
ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 21st Aug, 2026) President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Friday paid tribute to the security forces and police for successfully eliminating 49 terrorists of Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarij in joint intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
President’s Statement:
President Zardari commended the security forces and police for carrying out the successful intelligence-based operations and eliminating the terrorists, as stated in a Presidency’s news release. He emphasized that the terrorist elements operating with external support would never succeed in undermining Pakistan’s peace and stability. The president reiterated that operations against terrorists would continue with full force until the complete eradication of terrorism from the country. He expressed confidence that the people of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would soon be completely rid of the menace of terrorism and move towards peace, national development, and prosperity.
Prime Minister’s Statement:
In a separate news release, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also paid tribute to the security forces for the successful operations against terrorists in the two provinces. He revealed that the security forces and police, in joint operations, had eliminated a total of 49 terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan. The prime minister praised the professional expertise of Pakistan’s security forces and police, as demonstrated by these successful operations. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to completely eliminating terrorism from the country and ensuring lasting peace and security for its people.
