President Asif Ali Zardari Urges Muslims to Emulate Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) Seerah
ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Aug, 2026) President Asif Ali Zardari has called upon Muslims to express their love and affection for Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) by adopting his blessed Seerah and Sunnah in their lives. He believes this will set a positive example for humanity.
In a message on the occasion of 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal, 1448 Hijrah, President Zardari emphasized that Muslims, as an Ummah, should demonstrate justice, fairness, forbearance, inter-sectarian and interfaith harmony, and respect for human dignity in society.
He encouraged the younger generation to draw guidance from the Seerah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and make knowledge, high character, hard work, and service to humanity central to their lives.
The President extended his heartfelt felicitations to the people of Pakistan and the global Muslim Ummah on this auspicious occasion, marking the birth anniversary of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). He highlighted that this day serves as a reminder of Allah Almighty's great blessing in revealing the path of faith, guidance, justice, mercy, and noble character to humanity.
President Zardari stated, "The Holy Prophet (PBUH), the last Prophet, was sent by Allah Almighty as a mercy for all the worlds. His blessed birth marked the beginning of a radiant era in human history, leading humanity from the darkness of ignorance into the light of knowledge and guidance." He further noted that this era ushered in the elimination of oppression, established justice, and promoted brotherhood, equality, and fraternity by discouraging social and class divisions.
According to President Zardari, the Prophet's (PBUH) exemplary life, guided by the teachings of the Holy Quran, brought about a revolutionary change aimed at the welfare and salvation of individuals and society. He added that the Prophet's life demonstrated the establishment of a righteous society through high moral values, justice, compassion, and a sense of responsibility while adhering to divine commandments and observing piety and righteousness.
The President highlighted that the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) Seerah teaches Muslims to foster mutual respect, goodwill, and compassion among people. He noted that the Prophet protected the rights of vulnerable groups, including orphans, the poor, and those in need, and taught kindness and brotherhood among individuals.
On this auspicious occasion, President Zardari prayed for the Muslim Ummah, especially the people of Pakistan, seeking Allah Almighty's grace to fill their hearts with true love for Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), empower them to follow his teachings, and guide them in practicing them throughout their lives.
