Professional Rumour Maker Earns Money by Selling Rumours

A 69-year-old woman from Colombia has become a professional rumour maker, earning money by selling gossip. Miriam, says rumour-making is part of her life and runs in her blood, which led her to turn it into a livelihood.
She claims her rumour-selling business is growing rapidly, even helping her buy two houses. She waits in local tea shops, jotting down notes.
She charges between 5,000 and 10,000 Colombian pesos for rumours, depending on their content.
"I love gossip and I am a professional rumour maker," she said, adding that her notebook not only helps her tell authentic stories but also serves as evidence.
Her most expensive rumour sold for 700,000 pesos, aiding a man in concealing his wife's infidelity.
Despite her success, Miriam faces competition as others try to copy her business model. She insists on providing evidence for every rumour. She is known as the "Queen of Gossip" in her region.
