ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 27th Aug, 2026) The benchmark KSE-100 Index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed a bearish trend on Thursday, losing 47.93 points, a negative change of 0.03 percent, to close at 177,322.78 points. It previously recorded 177,370.71 points in the previous trading session.
Trading Volume and Value:
- Ready Market: A trading volume of 614.057 million shares was recorded, down from 644.841 million shares the previous day. The traded value increased to Rs34.547 billion from Rs31.365 billion.
- DFC Market: Turnover stood at 500.393 million shares, with a traded value of Rs27.033 billion, compared to 472.400 million shares and Rs27.235 billion in the previous session.
Market Capitalisation:
Market capitalisation declined to Rs19.860 trillion from Rs19.892 trillion a day earlier.

Out of 496 companies that traded, 191 posted gains, 279 suffered losses, while 26 remained unchanged, indicating a widespread bearish trend.
