PTI Protests Always Created Rift And Hate: Aqeel Malik – UrduPoint
ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 17th Aug, 2026) Minister of State for Law and Justice, Barrister Aqeel Malik, stated that the government always supported peaceful protests but rejected any violent demonstrations that could disrupt peace.
He strongly condemned PTI’s (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) harsh statements and underlying motives during a media interaction outside Parliament House.
Malik questioned PTI’s protest record, noting that "History shows not a single PTI protest has remained peaceful. Thus, how can we trust their upcoming one will be different?" He further asserted that the PTI’s political activities had frequently led to violence.
Regarding provincial issues, Malik informed that no internal party discussions on the subject had taken place thus far.
