Punjab Govt Makes Birth, Death Certificate Free For Another Three Years
The Punjab government makes birth and death certificate fees free for another three years, granting relief on late registration fees as well.
After amending the Birth and Death Rules 2025, the government has extended the fee waiver period for late registration. According to official sources, this facility will be available for an additional 3 years. The relevant gazette notification for fee waiver and extension was issued, and Secretary Local Government Zaid bin Maqsood directed the DG Local Government to implement it immediately.
