Punjab Police 14th Internship Batch Concluded

Punjab Police hosted the concluding ceremony for its 14th internship batch on Thursday at the Central Police Office in Lahore. Inspector General of Police Abdul Kareem, alongside senior officers, honored the students with certificate presentations.
In his speech, IGP Abdul Kareem emphasized that the practical experience gained during the internship will be invaluable for students' career paths, offering a glimpse into police operations. He highlighted Punjab Police's commitment to fostering an educational and research-oriented culture by providing internship opportunities.
A spokesperson from Punjab Police revealed that 38 students from the University of the Punjab and 27 from Government College University participated in this five-week program. The interns were divided into five groups, each assigned to different departments: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), Special Branch, Punjab Safe Cities Authority, Investigation, and IT.
The internship allowed students to contribute by presenting reports on their insights and learnings. Interns expressed gratitude to IGP Abdul Kareem for the opportunity to witness police work and understand its complexities firsthand.
Additional IG Training Asim Gulzar, DIG Training Munir Ahmad Zia Rao, DIG Research and Development Inam Waheed, AIG Training, and other senior officers attended the ceremony. Also present were Dr. Fouzia Shaheen from Government College University's Institute of Academic Planning and External Links and researchers Dr. Sadra Fareed and Rohma Shahzad from the University of the Punjab.
