Punjab Prosecutor General Conducts Surprise Visit to Child Protection Court

LAHORE (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News) - 17th Sep, 2026) Punjab Prosecutor General Chaudhry Irfan Sadiq Tarar on Thursday made a surprise visit to the Child Protection Court and conducted a detailed review of the court and prosecution records.
During his inspection, he found that only six cases were pending before the court, while three prosecutors had been posted there. Taking immediate notice, the prosecutor general ordered the transfer of two prosecutors.
Tarar stated that the available manpower of the prosecution department would be allocated according to workload and actual requirements. He emphasized that government resources and manpower would be utilized effectively in areas where they could contribute to better public service delivery.
The prosecutor general further directed relevant officials to ensure the efficient utilization of human resources across the prosecution system. He made it clear that excessive deployment at any location would not be tolerated, while personnel would be shifted to places with greater workload.
