RCB Transforms Garbage-hit Spots Into Green Spaces
RCB has started converting garbage-hit spots into green spaces after conducting cleanliness operations at various locations along Nullah Lai. This initiative, directed by Cantonment Executive Officer Amir Rashid, has revitalized several sites previously plagued by waste and garbage.
After removing the accumulated trash, planting was undertaken to discourage future garbage accumulation and enhance the surrounding environment. The residents welcomed this change, suggesting that beautifying cleaned areas through planting could promote cleanliness and encourage people to avoid dumping waste in public spaces.
This effort highlights the significance of linking cleanliness operations with landscaping and long-term maintenance, ensuring cleaned areas remain pristine. The RCB continues its cleanliness and beautification activities at different points within the cantonment to enhance the overall civic environment.
