Robbery Worth Over Rs55 Million Reported in Karachi

Armed suspects easily snatched a bag full of cash exceeding Rs55,018,000 from a citizen in Karachi and fled; a case has been registered.

Six armed suspects on motorcycles stopped a vehicle near Metropole, forcing the driver and an employee to hand over a bag containing over Rs35 million.
According to the First Information Report (FIR), the money was collected from Sukkur and stored at a private company’s office in Gulshan-e-Iqbal. It was en route to another office when the robbery occurred.
Recent Crimes in Burewala
Citizens in Burewala, Punjab, also faced seven separate robbery and theft incidents, losing valuable items including mobile phones, motorcycles, cash, and water pumps. Police have registered cases and are investigating.
- Three robbers stole a mobile phone and Rs60,000 from Nasir Hussain.
