RPO Pledges Stronger Support for Tank Police

Regional Police Officer Ghulam Mubashir Mekan has assured Tank police personnel of prompt action on their grievances and continued measures for their welfare and morale.
During his visit to Tank Police Lines, the RPO met with officers and personnel, listened to their concerns, and directed relevant officials to address their genuine problems without delay. He also visited the martyrs' memorial, laid a floral wreath, and paid tribute to the police martyrs.
Addressing a special police darbar, the RPO praised Tank police for their courage, professionalism, and commitment to duty. He noted that he had been monitoring the district police's performance for five months and had received positive feedback about their work.
The RPO introduced an online orderly room to facilitate personnel posted in remote areas and ensure prompt resolution of their issues. He emphasized that this initiative was intended to provide relief, not to punish anyone.
He shared his personal contact number with the personnel, assuring them that they could approach him regarding any personal or departmental concern. He promised that genuine grievances would be addressed according to law and rules.
The RPO described the police force as a valuable asset and prioritized the welfare of personnel, timely resolution of their problems, and maintenance of high morale. He distributed commendation certificates to officers and personnel for outstanding performance, especially those injured in the line of duty.
He urged the force to maintain unity, mutual trust, and discipline, and to remain committed to fighting terrorism and crime. The RPO reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare of personnel and the elimination of terrorism.
