Rs8 Miln Stolen Haul Recovered, Suspect In Handcuffs As ICT Police Crack Humak Theft Case

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Sep, 2026) Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police have arrested a suspect and recovered gold jewellery, laptops, mobile phones and cash worth around Rs8 million after solving a theft case in Humak within a short time.

An official told APP on Sunday that Humak Police achieved the breakthrough on the directions of SSP Operations Qazi and SP Soan Zone. He said a police team, working under the supervision of SHO Humak Police Station Inspector Habibullah, used modern technology and technical methods to trace and arrest accused Muhammad Rehan.

The operation was carried out by ASI Raja Nisar Hasnain in connection with FIR No. 537/26, registered on September 2, 2026, under Sections 380, 457 and 411 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).

Police recovered gold jewellery, laptops, mobile phones and cash collectively valued at around Rs8 million from the possession of the accused.

The official said the police team effectively used technical resources to trace the suspect and recover the stolen valuables. The SSP Operations Qazi and SP Soan Zone appreciated the police team for the successful operation and directed officers to further intensify action against criminal elements.

ICT Police reiterated its commitment to protecting the lives and property of citizens and taking firm action against those involved in criminal activities.
