Russia Threatens The UK (Again)
August 18, 2026
Available for over a year
Today, Russia has warned of "consequences" for the UK, after it was confirmed that British-made drones were used by Ukraine to strike Russia.
The Russian embassy in London earlier accused Britain of "deliberately opting for an escalation of the Ukraine crisis", adding that "the deeper its involvement in the conflict… the higher the price it will pay". In response, Prime Minister Andy Burnham has reiterated that the UK ‘supports Ukraine 100%’.
Adam and Alex speak to Ukraine correspondent Dan Johnson about the situation on the ground, and if we know what role the UK drones played. Adam and Alex also discuss the suspension of Tim Montgomerie from Reform UK, reportedly because of comments made about Zia Yusuf.
Plus, technology and AI editor Zoe Kleinman is on the line to discuss the latest Meta trial in the US, where 30 states are taking Meta to court over social media addiction and child privacy claims.
