Russia's Industrial Exports Reach $58.8 Billion in First Half — Industry Minister
Russia’s non-resource non-energy industrial exports rose to $58.8 billion in the first half of the year, according to Russian Industry and Trade Minister Anton Alikhanov.
"This year we aim to reach a total non-resource non-energy export volume of $155.25 billion, with industrial sectors contributing $116.95 billion," he stated, as quoted by TASS.
Alikhanov highlighted chemical products, metallurgy, light industry, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics among the key drivers of this growth. He also noted the successful integration of export support centers into a unified system, enhancing regional exporters' effectiveness.
Russia's non-resource non-energy exports increased by 11% last year, solidifying its position as a reliable supplier of high-tech products, as reported by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
This progress is being showcased at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) in Vladivostok from September 1-4, focusing on the Far East's development for the benefit of all people.
