SBA Police Arrests Suspect Wanted In Murder Case
SBA Police have arrested a key suspect wanted in connection with a murder case and recovered a pistol and ammunition from his possession, police said on Thursday.
The arrest was made on the special directives of SSP Shaheed Benazirabad Samir Noor Channa as part of ongoing operations against suspects involved in serious crimes across the district.
According to police, the arrested suspect, identified as Waheed Rahejo, was wanted in connection with FIR No. 48/2026 registered under Sections 302, 324, 353 and 34 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
During the operation, police found the alleged murder weapon, a pistol along with ammunition, in the suspect’s possession.
A separate case was subsequently registered against him under the Sindh Arms Act at A-Section Police Station.
Police stated that further investigation into the case was underway.
SSP Samir Noor Channa commended the performance of the A-Section Police team and assured that those involved in serious crimes would not evade justice. He directed the team to continue indiscriminate operations against criminal elements to maintain peace and stability in the district.
