SC’s Registrar’s Office Assigns Number to Contempt Petition Over PTI Founder’s Hospital Transfer
ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Aug, 2026) The Registrar’s Office of the Supreme Court on Tuesday assigned a diary number to a contempt of court petition filed by a sister of PTI founder regarding his transfer to a hospital.
The petition was refiled before the Supreme Court Registrar’s Office after the objections raised by the office were removed.
This development comes after Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) filed a contempt petition on August 22, concerning the issue of the PTI founder’s transfer to a hospital.
The petition was filed in the Supreme Court by Uzair Bhandari and Salman Akram Raja.
