Secretary Housing and Works Capt. (Retd.) Muhammad Mahmood Orders Faster Development and Encroachment Removal in G-13, G-14, G-15

Secretary Housing and Works Capt. (Retd.) Muhammad Mahmood has visited Sectors G-13, G-14, and G-15, instructing authorities to expedite development, eliminate encroachments, and enhance civic amenities for residents.

During his visits, the Secretary, accompanied by Director General Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) Capt. (Retd.) Zafar Iqbal and others, inspected areas, reviewed development and civic works, and expressed dissatisfaction with illegal encroachments in G-13. He ordered their immediate removal and action against offenders.

He also inspected playgrounds and sports facilities, directing their upgrade to modern standards, especially for children and youth. Capt. (Retd.) Muhammad Mahmood emphasized the government's priority to protect government land and public spaces, promising no tolerance for illegal encroachment or construction.

He visited G-14 and G-15, reviewing infrastructure, civic facilities, and development projects. He directed the completion of G-15's remaining work as a priority and stressed quality, transparency, and timely project completion. He also instructed regular monitoring of ongoing works and prompt attention to public complaints.

The Secretary reaffirmed his commitment to improving civic amenities, infrastructure, playgrounds, and public spaces in Islamabad's housing sectors.
