Security Forces Kill 21 Khwarij in Multiple Engagements in KPK: ISPR

Security Forces have killed 21 khwarij belonging to Indian sponsored Fitna Al Khwarij in multiple engagements in Khyber Pakhunkhwa (KPK) province over three days.

Following a successful engagement on the night of 31 August / 1 September 2026 along the Pakistan-Afghanistan Border in North Waziristan District, 10 more khwarij were neutralized, bringing the total to 25.

In another encounter in North Waziristan, a group of khwarij attempting to cross the border was engaged by security forces, resulting in the deaths of 7 individuals.

Four additional khwarij were eliminated in separate operations in Kohat and Dera Ismail Khel Districts.

These incidents highlight Pakistan's stance on the ineffectiveness of the Afghan Taliban Regime in controlling cross-border terrorism. The release states:

"The Afghan Taliban Regime has consistently failed to ensure effective border management and honour its international counter-terrorism obligations."

Pakistan's Security Forces remain committed to defending the nation's frontiers, continuing their Counter Terrorism campaign under the vision "Azm e Istehkam" as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan.

Sanitization operations are ongoing to eliminate any remaining Indian-sponsored khwarij in the area.
