Security Forces Kill 21 Khwarij In Multiple Engagements In KPK: ISPR
UrduPoint (6th Sep, 2026) - Security Forces have killed 21 Khwarij belonging to Indian-sponsored Fitna Al Khwarij in multiple engagements in Khyber Pakhunkhwa (KPK) province over the last three days.
According to a news release by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), successful engagement by security forces on the night of 31 August / 1 September 2026 along the Pakistan-Afghanistan Border in North Waziristan District resulted in 10 more Khwarij being neutralized, bringing the total to 25.
In another encounter in North Waziristan, a group of Khwarij attempting to cross the Pakistan-Afghanistan border was detected and engaged by security forces, resulting in seven Khwarij being neutralized.
Four more were effectively eliminated during joint operations in Kohat and Dera Ismail Khel Districts.
The ISPR release stated:
"These repeated incidents along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border have once again confirmed Pakistan’s stance regarding the failure of the Afghan Taliban Regime to prevent terrorist organizations from using Afghan soil for cross-border terrorism."
"The Afghan Taliban Regime has consistently failed to ensure effective border management and honor its international counter-terrorism obligations."
Security Forces in Pakistan remain committed to defending their frontiers. Sanitization operations are underway to eliminate any remaining Indian-sponsored Khwarij as the country continues its relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under the vision "Azm e Istehkam" (approved by the Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan).
