Security Tightened For Eid Milad (SAW) Procession In DI Khan
DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - August 25, 2026) District Police Officer Ziauddin Ahmed inspected the route of the Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) procession and reviewed security arrangements, directing officers to ensure foolproof security throughout the event.
Accompanied by DSP City Circle Sagheer Shah Gilani, the DPO visited key points along the route, including Taj Masjid and Milad Park, and reviewed arrangements at sensitive locations. He directed concerned officers to:
- Ensure effective checking
- Establish checkpoints
- Deploy walk-through gates along the procession route
The DPO also ordered continuous monitoring through CCTV cameras and the deployment of additional personnel at sensitive points. Alternative routes have been identified to manage traffic flow during the procession, he stated.
He warned against negligence in security arrangements, emphasizing that a rapid response plan was in place to handle any untoward incident.
