Seerah of Holy Prophet Provides Complete Code of Life: Syedaal Khan Nasir
ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Sep, 2026) Acting Chairman of the Senate, Syedaal Khan Nasir, has stated that the Seerah (life and teachings) of the Holy Prophet Muhammad offers a comprehensive guide to living and a path to success in both this world and the Hereafter.
He noted that the Seerah can provide sustainable solutions to the educational, economic, and social challenges facing youth, drawing upon Islamic teachings.
Addressing the Islamabad Session of the 2nd International Seerah Conference 2026, organized by the Department of Islamic Studies, Alhamd Islamic University, as the Chief Guest, he emphasized the following points:
- The life and teachings of the Holy Prophet are a practical example of peace, justice, equality, compassion, tolerance, and mutual respect for all humanity.
- The Charter of Madinah and the Prophet’s conduct towards people of different faiths serve as timeless examples of peaceful coexistence and the protection of rights.
- Youth, comprising over 60% of Pakistan’s population, require modern education, skills, and knowledge while also developing strong moral values, character, and a positive outlook.
- There is a pressing need to protect youth from extremist and destructive influences, curb negative social media use, and channel their energies towards constructive and productive activities.
- Political parties and leadership must prioritize national interests above personal or partisan considerations and work collectively for Pakistan’s development, prosperity, and stability.
- Personal accountability and opportunities for sincere and capable individuals are crucial for national progress.
- Pakistan’s improved international image and standing is a result of collective efforts by the political and security leadership.
- The nation is proud of its growing role in international affairs and remains committed to the protection and sanctity of the Holy Kaaba.
He appreciated the organizers, scholars, and researchers for hosting the Seerah Conference and expressed hope that it would contribute to spreading the universal message of Seerah-e-Tayyaba and fostering the intellectual, moral, and spiritual development of the younger generation.
