Seminar at LPC Highlights Historical Significance Of Khatm-e-Nabuwwat Movement

Lahore Press Club (LPC) President Arshad Ansari has said that belief in the Finality of Prophethood is an integral part of every Muslim’s faith. He was addressing a seminar on Khatm-e-Nabuwwat (Finality of Prophethood PBUH) held at the Lahore Press Club Hall, according to a press release issued on Saturday.
Ansari said Muslims were always ready to sacrifice their lives for the honour and dignity of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
Renowned columnist Shafiq Pasruri shed light on the political background of the Khatm-e-Nabuwwat movement, stating that religious, legal, literary, and artistic circles, along with political leaders and parties, actively participated.
Senior anchorperson and analyst Muhammad Usama Ghazi highlighted the significance of Khatm-e-Nabuwwat by referring to the Battle of Yamama and its historical context in early Islamic history. The seminar also recognized the contributions of journalists and editors to the movement.
LPC Council Member Muhammad Ahmad Sabir Chughtai led prayers for national integrity and the resolution of issues facing the press club and the wider community.
