Senator Rubina Khalid Pays Tribute To Martyrs On Defence Day

Tribute to Martyrs and Veterans
In her message on the occasion of Defence Day, Rubina Khalid paid rich tribute to the martyrs and veterans of Pakistan's Armed Forces, along with their families. She stated that Defence Day serves as a reminder of the great sacrifices rendered for the country's freedom, sovereignty, and national security.
Recalling the events of 1965, she noted that the sons of the nation foiled the enemy's nefarious designs through unmatched bravery and unwavering commitment to duty. The BISP Chairperson also highlighted the success of Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos, terming it another golden chapter in Pakistan's history, a testament to the professional excellence, determination, courage, and valor of the country's Armed Forces.
Building a Strong Nation
Senator Rubina Khalid further emphasized that alongside a strong national defence, economic stability and progress form the true foundation of Pakistan's strength. She stressed that building a bright, secure, and prosperous Pakistan is a shared responsibility of the entire nation, including its youth.
