Sharjeel Inaugurates Mosimiyat Flyover

KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Sep, 2026) Sindh Senior Minister for Information, Transport & Mass Transit Sharjeel Inam Memon inaugurated the Mosimiyat Flyover, a crucial component of the Red Line BRT project.
On this occasion, Provincial Minister Saeed Ghani and Karachi Deputy Mayor Salman Abdullah Murad were also present.
Prior to the inauguration, Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon visited the Red Line BRT corridor, where concerned authorities provided him with a detailed briefing regarding the ongoing work and progress on the project.
Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon's Remarks:
"The Mosimiyat Flyover has been inaugurated today. This overbridge is a vital element of the Red Line BRT project and will be opened for traffic shortly. Following protocol completion, it will be accessible to the public within two days, with benefits available within one day post-inauguration."
He attributed the project's timely completion to the government's concerted efforts and agreements with relevant institutions despite challenges posed by inflation and rising material costs.
"The government is committed to developing every sector of Karachi. Various departments are working diligently to improve the city's infrastructure. Providing efficient travel facilities to the public is our top priority."
