SH&ME Dept Transfers 26 Employees Posted at Same Place for Long Time
SH&ME Department has taken a significant step towards improving office affairs by transferring 26 employees who had been stationed at the same location for an extended period. This initiative, announced on September 03, 2026, aims to ensure transparency, efficiency, and administrative enhancement within the department.
The transferred personnel include a diverse range of roles such as:
- Deputy Chief Nursing Superintendent
- Head Nurse and Charge Nurse
- Pharmacy Technician
- Chief Technician Pharmacy
- Head Clerk
- Dispenser
- Computer Operator
- Accountant
These individuals are assigned to various government teaching hospitals and institutions across Lahore, Rawalpindi, and D.G. Khan. Specifically, transfers have occurred at:
- Fatima Jinnah Medical University Lahore
- Postgraduate Medical College Lahore
- Mayo Hospital Lahore
- Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Jinnah Hospital, General Hospital, Lady Willingdon Hospital, and Punjab Institute of Cardiology (all in Lahore)
- Holy Family Hospital and Benazir Bhutto Hospital (Rawalpindi)
- Allama Iqbal Teaching Hospital (Dera Ghazi Khan)
All transferred employees have been instructed to report to their new postings immediately. The department plans to transfer more staff members who have been serving at teaching hospitals for prolonged periods in the coming days, emphasizing a commitment to ongoing administrative reforms.
