Sindh Governor Urges Youth To Incorporate Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) in Daily Life

KARACHI, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 23rd Aug, 2026) Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi has emphasized the importance of Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) in providing a comprehensive life code, with the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) serving as a guiding light for humanity.

Addressing a Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) Conference here on Sunday, he stated that introducing the younger generation to the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is an urgent necessity. He suggested that if today’s youth could learn just one aspect from the Prophet’s (PBUH) life, it should be character.

The Governor noted, "When character is strong, knowledge becomes refined, power becomes a trust, and wealth becomes a means of service."

Hashmi observed that while positions may grant authority, character earns credibility. He recalled that even before the declaration of Prophethood, the people of Makkah recognized the Holy Prophet (PBUH) as "Sadiq (truthful) and Ameen (trustworthy)*."

He continued, "Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) is not merely for reading, but for adoption in our lives." He highlighted lessons such as steadfastness during difficult times, patience in the face of opposition, and forgiveness after victory, demonstrated by the Prophet (PBUH).

The Governor described the Prophet (PBUH) as a great social leader and lawgiver who established a state and society based on justice, trust, and responsibility. He emphasized the importance of protecting the rights of others, orphans, the needy, and vulnerable segments of society, as taught by Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH).

Furthermore, Hashmi encouraged young people to avoid turning differences of opinion into enmity, promoting peace and harmony in society. He concluded that incorporating the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) into daily life could lead to a better, peaceful, and morally robust society, and that following these teachings is the path to success in this world and the hereafter.

The conference was attended by prominent religious scholars and intellectuals, including Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani, Chairman National Rahmat-ul-lil-Alameen wa Khatam-un-Nabiyyin Authority Khurshid Ahmad Nadeem, Allama Syed Shahenshah Hussain Naqvi, Dr. Syed Aziz-ur-Rehman, Allama Syed Razi Jafar Naqvi, Pir Syed Azhar Shah Hamdani, and Qari Muhammad Usman.
