SUKKUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Sep, 2026) Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO) with the support of Sindh Government and its different partners will organize the 18th Sartyoon Sang Crafts Exhibition in Karachi’s Ocean Mall, Clifton from September 4th to 6th, 2026, running daily from 11:00 a.m to 11:00 p.m.

MPA Sadia Javed, Sindh Government's Spokesperson, will inaugurate the exhibition at 5:00 p.m.

The event will display a variety of traditional arts and crafts from Karachi, showcasing the work of thousands of rural women artisans from across Sindh province including Sukkur, Kashmore-Kandhkot, Shikarpur, Larkana, Jacobabad, Khairpur, Badin, Thatta, Larkana, and other districts.

Products on display will include:

  • Home textiles (patchwork, cut work, and embroidery)
  • Basketry
  • Jewelry
  • Dresses and dupattas
  • Shawls with traditional embroidery and cutwork
  • Khaddar clothing
  • Organic dye and self-print cotton fabrics

and more.

"Sartyoon Sang” is Sindh Rural Support Organisation’s Craft Enterprise Development Program, which invests in the growth and development of craft artisans, especially women artisans, beyond mere collaboration. Skill enhancement programs empower artisans to refine their crafts, learn new techniques, and adapt to evolving market demands. This initiative promotes economic growth and sustainability within communities of Province Sindh, Pakistan.
